Description: white or slightly yellow transparent oily fluid or crystal. With specific fragrance, sweet and phenol scent. melting point at 27.9℃, boiling point at 205℃, flashing point at 82.2℃, specific gravity(d₄¹⁵) 1.12-1.143, refraction rate(n_D¹⁷) 0.828. Slightly soluble in benzene and water, easily soluble in glycerine, mixable in ethanol and most of the non-evaporative oil.

UseS: Our country GB2760-86 regulate as permitted use for the eatable spices, mainly use for making up a prescription of coffee, fragrant plants, fumigation and tobacco types essence. Use in spices industry as composition of vanillin and sandal. Use in food industry as additives to drinks, sweetmeats and roasting food. It is a very precious medical & chemical raw material. Use in medical industry to produce guaiacol sulfonic acid potassium, type cough medicine, musk and adrenin. It has no side effect absoluteluy.
