Description: transparent to slightly yellow oily fluid. With condiment fragrance, cloves, vanillin and tobacco scent. melting point at 5.5℃, boiling point at 220℃-222℃, flashing point at 99℃, relative  density(d₄²⁰) 1.098, refraction rate(n_D²⁵) 1.5353. Slightly solvable in water, easily solvable in ethanol, ethyl ether chloroform and glacial acetic acid.
